Airaz Typeface

Airaz is a semi-mono typeface initially conceived as a lettering exercise during a course at Escola Lateral in 2019. Later, I decided to fully develop the typeface, which is based on three connected modules that result in cohesive yet varied character constructions.

The name “Airaz” pays tribute to my grandfather’s hometown and is a local word meaning “strong wind gust.”
